平成17年より世界最細針『いけだニードル』を開発し、「切らない眼瞼下垂手術ＬＴ法」「腫れない二重まぶた手術ＭＴ法」を国内外のシンポジウムで発表し高い評価を受ける。
平成20年には韓国美容外科学会会長の二重手術を、300人の医師の前で公開手術で行い、直後から腫れのない事を証明し大韓美容外科学会に表彰された。
