大阪医科大学付属病院形成外科病棟医長、東海大学病院形成外科・美容外科臨床助手を経て、平成16年銀座いけだクリニックを開設。
メイクアップの概念を美容医療に初めて取り入れ、仕事を休む必要がなく元に戻せる美容医療が、働く女性に評判を呼び、開設1年目で口コミだけで年間2万人を超える患者を集める美容クリニックとなる。
平成17年より世界最細針『いけだニードル』を開発し、「切らない眼瞼下垂手術ＬＴ法」「腫れない二重まぶた手術ＭＴ法」を国内外のシンポジウムで発表し高い評価を受ける。
平成20年には韓国美容外科学会会長の二重手術を、300人の医師の前で公開手術で行い、直後から腫れのない事を証明し大韓美容外科学会に表彰された。
平成２１年新宿に最先端の美肌作りに取り組む東京皮膚科・形成外科も開設。
平成22年日本アンチエイジング外科学会理事長就任。
